Mackenzie is the Global Startup Evangelist at AWS. His days are spent traveling the globe to meet startups, share their stories, and connect engineering teams together. Every day there are a large number of startups launching on AWS across every imaginable industry. It’s Mackenzie’s mission to find stories of startups that are helping to improve the world and share these stories with a wide audience.
Join us for Event Driven Architectures Day on August 31 at Amazon SJC18 (2100 University Ave C, East Palo Alto, CA 94303 in Room 01.109-01.110). This will be an interactive day with a mix of lecture and instructor-led workshops from AWS experts. Did you know that a Serverless event-driven approach can help build resilient GenAI applications?
Â
In this full day training event, you’ll learn how to build serverless, event-driven applications leveraging cloud-native services such as Amazon EventBridge, AWS Step Functions, and AWS Lambda.
Here's the agenda:
• The benefits of the event-driven paradigm and how it can improve throughput, scale and extensibility, while also reducing complexity and the overall amount of code in an application.
• How Lambda fits into the event-driven paradigm and how it interacts with other AWS services.
• The common trade-offs of using event-driven architectures, which include variable latency, eventual consistency, and handling asynchronous return values.
• Design principles that help you develop well-architected serverless applications.
Why attend:Â
Learn how to build cost-efficient and agile applications using event-driven architecture.
